Safe Investing Process – Adjusting your Goals

Even after you set your goals, you still need to check in every once and while to make sure that you still want to go where those goals are taking you.

We spend so much time “being busy” that we don’t stop to reflect until something unfortunately occurs or we have not time left.

Below is a great list of reminders, regardless of your age, from a NBA legend.

Take stock of your annual goals/monthly plans/daily actions, and ask yourself: Will I be happy with the person I will become?

  1. Learn who you are as an individual
  2. Stand up for yourself and your beliefs
  3. Avoid a physical fight-if you can
  4. Play a team sport
  5. Choose your friends for the right reasons
  6. Fight your fear of the unknown
  7. Listen to advice
  8. Be politically aware
  9. Mind your manners
  10. Be patient in love
  11. Stay fit
  12. Never, never do something on a dare
  13. Get organized
  14. Find heroes to copy
  15. Be independent
  16. Question authority
  17. Get smart
  18. Express yourself
  19. Pay attention to the short run
  20. But keep your eye on the long run
