COMMENTARY
The stock market outlook maintains an uptrend after its first full week of trading in 2020.

The market shook off a flurry of potentially market moving headlines last week, and experts see little risk of recession in 2020…even the yield curve data seems to back this up.

Seems like there’s a lot of complacency right now, no?

Price looks a bit extended; eerily similar to the start of 2018. So it wouldn’t be surprising if the S&P encountered some kind of sell-off soon.

No change in the stock market outlook; the uptrend remains in place.

There was no shortage of market moving headlines that could have impacted market prices, but the end result was a 0.73% gain for the week.

That’s not to say last week wasn’t without some excitement; the early week sell-off was enough to flip the ADX.  But Wednesday’s gap up made quick work of that change.
